The Charles A. and Betty Bott Cancer Center at Holy Redeemer Hospital and Medical Center received a $3,250 check from the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH) Division 39. The Catholic, Irish American Fraternal Organization held its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in May, and recently presented a portion of its proceeds to Holy Redeemer for the third year in the row. The funds will go towards breast cancer awareness programs and patient support needs. Pictured from left to right are Heidi Volpe, director, Cancer Center; Marian Thallner, vice president of Women’s and Children’s Services; and Mary Ellen Duffy, LAOH member.
