Accreditation

JCAHOQuality care doesn’t just happen. It is the result of the well planned efforts of a coordinated group of health care professionals. At Holy Redeemer Health System, we’ve created teams to ensure that we deliver the highest quality of care. The members focus on patient safety and satisfaction, ways to improve quality, ensuring compliance with all of the complex rules and regulations of health care, and many other important aspects of quality and safety.

In fact, Holy Redeemer has earned accreditation from the Joint Commission, an independent non-profit organization that accredits hospitals and health systems that meet its quality standards. Receiving accreditation is considered the gold standard of medical care and is a national recognition of quality. To maintain this high honor, organizations undergo a site survey by the Joint Commission team once at least every three years. Holy Redeemer was surveyed in July 2008.

However, despite our best efforts, concerns may remain. If you have patient care and safety concerns that cannot be resolved after working with health system management, you may contact the Joint Commission's Office of Quality Monitoring by calling: 1-800-994-6610 or emailing: complaint@jointcommission.org
